Comics and Childrens Books
It has been a while since I posted last - life has been quite busy recently with college coursework and commission work but life is good.
And I am working on my first comic, the name of the comic is 'Freaks-o-Nature' and it will be self published under the name of 'Ulfgang Comix', below are a few concept illustrations of some of the characters.
I have nearly finished my illustrations for a Childrens Book writen by Peter Rogers titled 'Ogres Fairly Grotty' (as below) just a few minor tweeks here and there, and the author recons that the book will be published in time for Christmas.

Winning is for Losers
On Deviant art I have come across or rather invited to look at this interesting page Winning is for losers. It is were several cartoonists or rather their cartoons battle it out in a tournament. The battles are voted for by the public.

Have I improved as an illustrator?
Have I improved as an illustrator?
That is the big question for me since I joined Plymouth College of Art and Design (or soon to be Plymouth College of Art). I like to think I have, my colouring has improved drastically (it is easy to do as I never used colour in my work before). But I think I will improve even more with the course, I feel I am on the verge of a break through, that will leap-frog me into a professional illustrator.
I like to thank my tutors, Mel,Phil and Andy for all there support.
